Max is a writer and director who received his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. His films have screened at festivals including the Frameline International Film Festival, Ivy Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, CineYouth (presented by Cinema/Chicago), and Twister Alley Film Festival and have premiered on NoBudge and on PBS. His music videos have been featured on Stereogum, Grimy Goods, and Impose Magazine. Max is a California State Arts Scholar for Film/Video and has worked for StarBeast Digital, Oscilloscope Laboratories, Strand Releasing, and Flies Collective.
