director biography

John is an Irish writer/director/editor based in London. His most recent short, MY FATHER, MY BLOOD, which stars Barry Ward (JIMMY’S HALL) and Jordanne Jones (I USED TO LIVE HERE), was shot on the west coast of Ireland and recently had its world premiere at The Belfast Film Film Festival in April 2017 and is in Official Competition at the 62nd Cork Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh, East End Film Festival and Fastnet Film Festival. His other short films have screened at festivals worldwide and his short PROMISE was shortlisted for the 2014 Venice Film Festival. John also works extensively for charities producing and directed documentaries and commercials and travelling the world to do so. His most recent work has included filming in Uganda, India, Sierra Leone and many more.
